Gym Interview

Based on looking at the app icon, can you explain what you the function of 30 Day Fitness?

Alison- "An app that gets you toned in 30 days."
David- "Possibly a workout schedule only good for 30 Days."
Chris- "A yoga/ tone app for girls."

When you initially clicked on the app, what was your first impression?
Alison-"Where is the homepage? Why is everything neon and blocky? This is not an attractive look at all."
David- "Everything is pink.. is this app even meant for men? I want to use an app made for everybody. Not just one gender."
Chris- "This app is SO tacky.... the app makes me feel like these workouts are  a joke."

How do you feel about the layout?
Alison- "Instead of Challenges and exercises in two different windows, why don't you eliminate one? When you click on a challenge you're immediately directed to your calendar. I don't think it should be called Challenges. Rather, maybe make that say Schedule."
David- "Not sure why there is an alarm button on the app. Everyone has an alarm on their phone, so why would you even use that one? Also, instead of having Info have its own button, you should put Weight Charts there. Nobody cares about info, you care about your own fitness."
Chris- "When I think about my workout, I want something sleek and sophisticated- not tacky and blocks of text. There's too much color, words, and useless options. Make the app simple, yet attractive, and you'd have me sold."

Do you have any final thoughts?
Alison- "If this app was laid out much better, I would consider downloading it. It really does have potential."
David- "I'd like to see this app totally redesigned. New colors, layout, and possibly a new name. I really dislike this app's design."
Chris-"Less is sometimes more. Make it simple and more applicable to real gym heads."
